How must I use it?

Spasmopep^®Peppermint Oil is encased in an enteric softgel coating, which enables the capsule to pass through the stomach without dissolving, so it can release its contents in the lower bowel, where relief is needed. Spasmopep^® Peppermint Oil softgel capsules should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. The capsules must not be chewed, bitten, crushed or opened, as doing this may damage the outer coating. If the outer coating is damaged, the contents could dissolve early in the mouth, throat and stomach rather than in the lower bowel, which could lead to irritation, heartburn, acid reflux and minty burps. Adults and teens over the age of 16 must take 1 capsule 3 times per day between meals, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. In severe cases, you may take 2 capsules 3 times per day.
