Spasmopep Junior

For babies and young children who:

  • have a family history of Colic
  • have sensitive tummies
  • are prone to overfeeding

Spasmopep®Junior comes with a convenient dropper that you can use to dilute it as follows:

  • For babies younger than 6 months: Give 1½ drops (0,5 ml) directly to the baby or mix it with formula milk, expressed breastmilk, juice or water. Do not administer it to your baby more than 3 times a day. 
  • For babies and toddlers between 6-24 months: Give 3 drops (1 ml) directly to the child or mix it with formula milk, expressed breastmilk, juice or water. Do not administer it to your baby or toddler more than 4 times a day.
  • For children 2 years and older: Administer 6 drops (2 ml) up to 3 times per day; it can be diluted in water if preferred.

The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that gas drops are safe to give to newborn babies, and adverse side effects are rare.

The liquid is available in a 30 ml bottle, which comes with a dropper to make it easy to administer the correct dosage – one drop equals roughly 0,3 ml.
